Salsa & Bachata Classes in Yarm and across the Tees Valley

Discover the joy of dance, get fit, and meet new friends at Tees Valley Salsa. Our friendly classes are the perfect way to learn salsa and Latin In Line dancing, no experience needed!

Salsa is a partner dance (though no partner needed as we rotate during class, optional but

recommended). Latin In Line is solo dancing to choreographed routines.

Join our vibrant dance family in the Tees Valley Middlesbrough area and experience the fun, energy, and community of salsa and Latin dancing. We're more than just a class; we're a supportive group where everyone is welcome. Dancing is good for the body and mind, expressing all your positive feelings. It's a great way to meet new people and have fun at the same time!

Dancers travel to us from across the Tees Valley — Stockton, Middlesbrough, Darlington, Hartlepool, Redcar, Billingham, Ingleby Barwick and beyond.

What our dancers say

"I came to my first class on my own and was honestly terrified — I'd never danced in my life and I get anxious in new groups. Graham, Jo and Jess put me at ease in about five minutes. By the end of the first session I was laughing, sweating and had actually danced with about ten different people. I've barely missed a Wednesday since."

"It's more than a dance class — it's a proper little dance family. The atmosphere is unbelievably welcoming, no cliques, no judgement, just people having fun together. I've made some of my best friends here."

"Travel across from Middlesbrough every Wednesday and it's worth every minute of the drive. The monthly socials are the highlight though — proper night out, friendly crowd, music's great, and you actually get to use what you've been learning."

"The teaching is brilliant — really patient, broken down properly, with enough repetition that the moves actually stick. I've done classes elsewhere and walked out feeling lost. Here I walk out feeling like I learned something new every single week."
